When we hear winter, our minds picture Christmas lights, snowflakes gently falling from the sky, chilling temperatures, and the visit of Santa.
Dallas and its surroundings offer many events for kids and families going on throughout December that will add plenty of cheer.

The Light Park is a family favorite when the winter holidays arrive! Families will not want to miss the most exciting drive-through light show.

Eat, drink, and watch as the night is electrified with millions of Christmas lights and festive music.

Holiday at the Arboretum returns with a garden transformed for the magic of the season including the return of the beloved Christmas Village, the 12 Days of Christmas, and the Dazzling Musical Tree!

Dallas Zoo Lights is an amazing walk-thru event where families will enjoy more than a million lights twinkling across most of the Zoo, new larger-than-life animal lanterns, elaborated holiday-themed displays in ZooNorth AND Wilds of Africa, visits to Santa’s Workshop to see the jolly old elf himself, more than a dozen brand new lighted photo ops, dazzling 3D lighted sculptures, festive holiday drinks and snacks for adults and kids!

Christmas in the Square returns for its historic 18th anniversary with even more fun surprises this year! It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas a week early this year!
