Family Bat Night is an exciting evening of bat exploration! From 6:00 until 7:00 pm, a variety of family-friendly bat activities will be available. Explore an array of captivating story and informational books about bats, discover how to eat like a bat with provided recipes, and measure your wingspan against that of a giant Golden-crowned flying fox. Additionally, learn about the distinctions between good and bad bat houses, and much more!
At 7:00 pm, Kate Rugroden, Director of Special Projects at Bat World Midcities, will present an engaging talk on bats. Following the presentation, attendees will venture outside with Wildlife Acoustics Echo Meter Touch 2 Bat Detectors to see if any bats can be detected.
