Nico’s Cocina Mexican Grill & Bar

Nico’s Cocina Mexican Grill & Bar is the to-go place when you’re craving Tex-Mex food.
Named after owner Joaquin Espinoza’s father, Nicholas, this restaurant welcomes the whole family.

Families with kids can enjoy Taco Tuesday and many other delicious options such as an omelet bar and waffles.
The little ones can have time while adults relax at the covered patio outdoors where there’s a playground with two playsets for kids of different ages: one for toddlers and one for big kids. Kids will climb and slide in the amazing NASA-inspired bouncy plane!

Joaquin moved to Dallas in the early 1980s and got to work right away. He started working for prominent restaurants in the area. Starting as a dishwasher and working his way up to head server. All while learning as much as he could and focusing on the guest experience. Joaquin had the dream of opening his own restaurant and decided to do just that when he opened Nico’s Cocina in 2006!
